Newcastle, Broadmeadow Racecourse is know as the social hub of Newcastle, the place to be on those special days. It is also the home of the Newcastle Jockey Club and is located at Chatham Road, Broadmeadow.
Racing is held on just about every second Saturday. Group Races that are held at the Racecourse are the Newcastle Spring Stakes and the Newcastle Gold Cup.
The biggest race day held at the Racecourse is the well known Boxing Day Races. Newcastle's biggest party, this day attracts some 16000 people.

Bathurst Racecourse built in 1946 and upgraded to a regional training centre in 1990-91. Bathurst Racecourse islocated at Eleven Mile Drive, Bathurst. Want to visit the OLDEST club in NSW? The Tumut Turf Club operates the Tumut Racecourse and it is the oldest club in Country New South Wales. The racecourse is set right on the picturesque banks of the Tumut River.
The club only hosts seven meeting a year including the Tumut Cup over 1400 metres in January. So if you and your friends wish to go you need to select the time and dates carefully, call the club and confirm the date before you book a bus!
